it's nice to meet you!
My name is Sianne, although many of my friends and family call me Elise (my middle name). I grew up in a small southern town called Sanford in North Carolina and lived there my whole life until moving to Wilmington in 2019 for college - a few years after graduation and here I am still! Based near the coast, I draw inspiration from the simplicity of nature, the movement of water, and the beauty in everyday connection. More importantly though, I am who I am today because of the One who created me. The Lord is my everything. He is who created what I find joy in capturing. It is because of Him that I am able to pursue what I love doing the most and that is the foundation that Photos By Sianne will forever be built around.
My approach
I believe that there is beauty in the raw emotion that love itself is. I am a very true to color photographer. I love to capture the raw, candid moments, but I will also guide and help pose you for the portrait moments. My wedding days typically look like me being near or at your side for the majority of the day, making sure the big moments are captured but that the small moments aren't missed as well. Whether it's a large wedding with all of your family and friends, a small elopement, a tropical engagement session or an intimate family session, my goal is to capture the most special moments and preserve them for a lifetime.
